2016 Back To School Secondary Science Giveaway!

Never fear, your emergency science sub plans are HERE!  Be fully prepared for those last minute emergencies this school year.  It’s taken me almost a 8 months, but I have meticulously researched and written over 50 Science Article Sub Plans with questions and answers.   Topics range from How to Breathe and Pee in Space, to Cancer Sniffing Dogs to Water Intoxication and much more.   I’ve made a few articles free for you to use in your class:  Concussions in Sports, The Science of the Flu Shot and Great Minds in Science – Benjamin Franklin.  These articles aren’t just great for no-prep science sub plans, they are also high interest articles which are great for class enrichment, extra credit and will definitely generate classroom discussion.  Sample and enjoy!

To see my entire collection of article topics, go to the 50 Science Articles Bundles  or the 18 Great Minds in Science Articles Bundle.

As well, I’m inviting you to participate in a HUGE blog hop giveaway for secondary science teachers that starts on August the 8th and ends on August the 12th.  You can win one of four $100 gift cards that you can spend on resources on Teachers Pay Teachers.  All you have to do is hop from one science blog to the next (see the participating blog below) to collect clues to a 16 word quote (16 words includes the name of the author of the quote).  If you’re reading this, then congratulations!  I am word #8 in the quote and my humble, but by no means insignificant, word is “the”.

After the contest is closed, four winners will be chosen who have correctly completed the 16 word quote with author name…and you, my lucky duck, might be one of them!  Each winner (ahem…perchance you) will be notified by email and will have 48 hours to respond and claim their prize.  Ah…as you can see, I’m a proponent of positive thinking.  Stay positive, stay strong and teach on!
